Davenport Pediatrics originally opened its doors in Arroyo Grande in August 2025 as the South County office of Patterson and Tedford Pediatrics in Atascadero. Through organizational changes, the Arroyo Grande location opted to become a fully independent practice, effective October 30, 2026.
Dr. Jillian Davenport is a licensed and board-certified pediatrician, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Davenport was born and raised in the Central Coast and considers this area to be her home. She went to Arroyo Grande High School, where she competed in shot put and discus. As an undergrad at UCSD, she continued to compete in track and field. She attended medical school at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where she was able to learn at one of the best children’s hospitals in the nation, the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. After graduating, she returned to California to complete her pediatrics residency at UCSF. She is also the mother of two wonderful daughters, both born during her residency in San Francisco.
After graduating residency in 2017, Dr. Davenport moved back to the Central Coast to begin practicing primary care pediatrics with Patterson and Tedford Pediatrics in Atascadero. She left PTP for a time to continue practicing primary care pediatrics in Arroyo Grande with the Community Health Centers of the Central Coast, and in Pismo Beach with Dignity Health, until ultimately returning to PTP in 2023. In 2025, she became a partner at PTP when she opened a second office in Arroyo Grande.
Dr. Davenport is passionate about evidence-based medicine, mental health, dermatologic conditions, and disorders of the blood.
